We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Librarian I - Early Literacy Librarian in Montgomery, Alabama. This role involves promoting early literacy through engaging programs and resources for our community.

The Early Literacy Librarian will be responsible for developing and implementing literacy programs, selecting age-appropriate materials, and providing reference and reader's advisory services to patrons.

• Plan and conduct early literacy programs for children and families.
• Select and manage a diverse collection of children's books and materials.
• Assist patrons with reference inquiries and reading recommendations.
• Collaborate with schools and community organizations to promote literacy.
• Maintain a welcoming and safe library environment for all patrons.

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Experience working with children and families in a library setting.
